Though Gallup Poll Daily tracking numbers have been particularly erratic as of late, Barack Obama ends the week with a slight edge over Sen. John McCain who in the midst of the economic crisis managed to pull even with his rival on Thursday. According to the latest Gallup Survey out Friday, Obama has taken a three percentage point lead in the race for the White House, with 48% of respondents expressing support for the Illinois senator and 45% lining up for Sen. McCain.
