Tonight, Joe Biden takes the stage at the DNC for the most important speech of his political career. Biden will have the challenge of successfully proving that his presence on the Democratic ticket will help win the White House. It’s a tall order that is sure to inspire comparisons to successful VP candidates past like Lyndon Baines Johnson and more ill-fated contenders like the late Lloyd Bentsen.
