Roger Federer and Williams Sisters Lose Out on Olympic Gold

Spectators were left speechless by the goings-on at the 2008 Olympic Games tennis matches as fan favorites fell by the wayside one by one. First, Swiss favorite Roger Federer lost to American James Blake, and then the American women, sisters Venus and Serena Williams, lost their singles matches to China’s Li Na and Russia’s Elena Dementieva, respectively.
