(Providence, Rhode Island) A Rhode Island man set off Monday on a five-state bicycle ride to promote same-sex marriage. 

Rick Harris’ ride will take him to Springfield, Mass.; Albany, NY; Philadelphia, PA.; New York City; through Long Island and back to Providence.
