NBC Issues Apology Over Coverage of Gay Diver Matthew Mitcham

Well aware that the world was fervently disappointed that Olympic golden gay boy Matthew Mitcham did not receive the coverage he deserved at the Olympic Games, NBC issued a statement on Wednesday apologizing for the lack of coverage. Outside of the fact that Mitcham is gay, he carries with him a fantastic story. After taking time off and considering retiring, he came back to win gold over a powerful Chinese team that was highly expected to win the top prize.
