Unless you’ve been in an underground bunker on a distant planet since the 2008 Olympics started, you’ve heard Michael Phelps‘ name at least 100 times. is the reigning Olympic pride of the pool, having won eight gold medals and ’shattering’ Mark Spitz’s previous record for the most gold won at one Olympic sitting. But, there is never great news without great controversy and this was no exception.
