Hypocrite of the Week: Mitt Romney

Former governor and Republican vice-presidential hopeful Mitt Romney thinks Barack Obama’s attempt to make political hay out of Sen. John McCain and his wife Cindy owning eight homes is just plain off-base. And he may be right. But his suggestion that John McCain, who married an heiress, somehow deserves his homes because of ‘hard work’—while Barack Obama, who earned his money from his own pluck and ingenuity, does not because of his real estate dealings with convicted felon Tony Rezko, is pretty farcical as well.
