Del Martin spent 55 years partnered with the love of her life, Phyllis Lyon, and yesterday morning, Del slipped away. Theirs was the sort of bond that comes once in a lifetime a life filled with one first after another. To think Phyllis and Del were together 55 years and married barely two months. And now, the religious right is attempting to take that bond away… again.
