Former East German athlete Heidi Krieger, the 1986 shot put World Champion, sat down with CNN this week to talk about her time as an athlete… most notably, the steroids she unknowingly injested… steroids, she said, which led her to undergoing sexual reassignment surgery in 1997, becoming Andreas Krieger.
