Same-sex couples also follow Jesus

Over the years, I have observed countless gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered Christians, in committed, loving, monogamous relationships. I have watched as these brothers and sisters loved faithfully in the face of persecution by society and its laws. They persevered in love even when they attended churches where they were told that their love was wrong and that they must change in order faithfully to follow Jesus. To love in the face of such opposition tells me that these people have a deep abiding faith and trust in the love of Christ and that that love is able to withstand all kinds of opposition.
