Mich. High Schooler Expelled After Attack on Gay Rights Advocate

Two Mich. high school girls face charges of aggravated assault in an attack against a schoolmate for being an advocate of GLBT equality.
A June 30 article in the Mich. newspaper The Grand Rapids Press reported that in addition to civil charges, one of the attackers has been expelled from the school where the attack took place.
