McCain or Obama Will Face Record Bush Budget Deficit

Projections from the Bush administration released on Monday suggest that U.S. budget deficit will soar to a new record of nearly half a trillion dollars in fiscal 2009. The troubled housing market along with rising food and fuel prices have adversely affected the U.S. economy to the point that the next U.S. president, whomever he may be, will face the greatest economic challenge of any commander-in-chief in history beginning on day one.
