Last month I embarked on AIDS LifeCycle 7, a life-changing ride that has taken a few weeks and a massage or two to fully comprehend. I’m just beginning to understand that I and 2,500 other nuts pedaled 545-miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a mass fundraiser to raise money, through the LA Gay and Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, for people living with AIDS.
