Old taboos die hard. Just look at what reporters have been through with Florida Gov. Charlie Crist. Popular, perma-tanned governor of a crucial state for Republicans, appealing to moderates, all of these things make Crist an A-list candidate to be Sen. John McCain‘s running mate. Problem is, Crist is single, and as implied by local media and online sources, very likely gay.
