With the race for the White House down to Barack Obama and John McCain, 2000 Democratic presidential nominee Al Gore is scheduled to appear for the first time on the campaign trail tonight to lend his support and endorsement to the Illinois senator. Michigan has become an important state for the Obama campaign. John Edwards also unveiled his endorsement of the presumptive Democratic nominee in Michigan.
