Charges upgraded against poultry magnate over gay lover’s death

A Perth millionaire accused of killing his gay lover and business partner has had a charge against him upgraded to wilful murder.

Gerardus Gerrit Heigny, 44, is accused of killing Frank Cianciosi, 51, last January in East Perth.

Mr Heigny and Mr Cianciosi were the master franchisees in WA for poultry giant Lenard’s.
