Celebrity Big Brother: Courtney Act made Wayne Sleep into a drag queen and it was brilliant

Drag star Courtney Act made herself a new drag sister in the Celebrity Big Brother house out of 69-year old dancer Wayne Sleep.
On Tuesday night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Courtney Act attempted to lighten the mood in the house after five housemates were nominated for the coming double eviction.
Actor and dancer Wayne Sleep stepped up to be transformed by the RuPaul’s drag race runner-up, helping Courtney adjust his wig and completely getting into the processes of ‘dragging up.’

The 69-year-old is known for being a dancer and at 5ft 2 is the shortest male dancer to ever be admitted to the Royal Ballet School.
Wayne compared his new look to icon Joan Crawford, before strutting out in front of the other housemates and declaring himself “Ms Trunchbull.”

Other housemates had not escaped Courtney’s fantastic touch, with many donning wigs and makeup to join in.
Comedian Daniel styled a pink curly wig, as did ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Ashley James.

This wasn’t the first time Courtney has used her hair and makeup skills on a fellow housemate.
The drag star made herself a drag sister out of the Apprentice star Andrew Brady earlier in the show, prompting controversial former housemate India Willoughby to compare drag to blackface.
In a previous episode of the reality show, Wayne revealed to his fellow housemates how he couldn’t come out as gay whilst his mother was alive.
While discussing his sexuality with housemates Ginuwine and Ashley James, Wayne confessed that despite the potential reaction from his mother, many of his friends urged him to come out as gay.
Wayne said: “I waited until she passed because people like my friends, I had a friend called David Hockney, he was a painter, and Freddie Mercury and that, they were going: ‘Come on, come out, come out!’”
Despite the advice of his friends, Wayne Sleep came out as gay after the death of his mother during his 40’s.

He now lives with his husband José Bergera, who he met 23 years ago.
