Sam Smith might have an Oscar and millions of record sales under his belt, but that doesn’t stop him doing some wedding singing on the side.

The performer shocked two brides-to-be when he turned up on their special day to do thrash out some hits.

Lisa Best, 48, was preparing to marry the love of her life Bec Baran, 40, when Sam rocked up at the wedding reception.

Neither of the newly-weds knew the surprise was in store, with Lisa’s loving niece, Katie, arranging the treat as part of Sam Smith at the BBC.

Sam secretly waited in the wings while the two women exchanged vows.

He then gave the couple and their loved one’s the shock of their lives when he walked in.

Lisa said: “When he walked through the door I thought, wow, that is actually Sam Smith, this does not happen to us.

“I love weddings so much… that was my first LGBT wedding ever and it was amazing.
