According to The Blast, St. Petersburg Police Department have performed mental health evaluations on the star following fears by friends and neighbours.

One report states the caller told cops Carter was “not in a safe mental state … engaging in drug activity.”

Police noted that Carter has “threatened to harm family and others.”

It’s claimed Carter threatened to take his life by mixing Xanax, Clonopin [sic], and “Dusters” (computer dusters).

A woman also made a desperate 911 call to the St. Petersburg Police on 5th September alerting officials that Carter was driving around after “inhaling computer duster.”

The worried onlooker claimed the brother of Nick Carter is “very very ill, he’s on the verge of death.”

She then told cops that the next time “you guys go out there it’s going to be finding him dead.”

The caller states, “He’s been driving drunk all night… I’m sure he was driving fast and intoxicated.”

The news comes a week after he was forced to take an HIV test on US television.

The troubled pop star, brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, sobbed on US television as he revealed his health fears.

The fall in weight loss and risky sexual activities had left him fearing it was related to becoming HIV-positive.

“I need help, I’m scared,” he tells the hosts of The Doctors in a clip from Thursday’s show.

Carter also claims he is addicted to cosmetic surgery and painkillers, as well as addressing rumours he’s been using crack cocaine and meth.

Weighing just 115 pounds at six foot tall, he took an HIV test, along with a series of other STI checks.

“That was the scariest thing I have ever done in my life,” he told hosts after taking the test.

“After not getting annual checkups and testing and being safe, actually, being safe so I could be safe for others, more importantly.

“That’s what scared me. I felt like I was putting people at risk with my body… I didn’t have the courage to go face the music.”

Medical experts Dr Travis Stork and Dr Jorge Rodriguez warned Aaron that he would have to make huge changes in his life if he wants to avoid serious health problems.

The singer looked shell shocked as Dr Rodriguez informed he was HIV-negative.

He also said that he tested negative for all other STIs.
