A person who had suffered from having 100 orgasms a day has come out as a transgender woman.

Wisconsin native Christine Decker, 40, has been battling a rare condition known as persistent genital arousal syndrome.

Before her transition, Decker had slipped a disc in her back while getting up from a chair and was unable to walk.

After calling an ambulance she had five unexpected orgasms on the way to the hospital.

Decker’s condition lead to her becoming housebound as her pelvis would constantly go into a spasm, leaving her without any control.

“I was sobbing, I had absolutely no idea what was happening,” she said.

The next day Decker was in agony after having 236 orgasms in a single day.

“I’d be on my knees with it. All these people would be staring at me and didn’t understand what was going on,” Decker said.

“It was humiliating.”

Since Decker came out as trans in June 2015 and has undergone hormone therapy the number of orgasms she experiences in a day has dropped from 100 to eight.

“I never felt like a boy, I just acted like one,” Decker told The Mirror.

“Life has totally changed for me in the past year, though.

“There are no words for how happy I am right now.”

Christine spoke out about her condition in order to raise awareness of just how life altering it could be.

Instead of receiving support, she found herself the victim of brutal trolling and online bullying.

“It was brutal. I had people I knew in real life go online and say horrendous things,” she said.

“I had people accuse me of making it up to claim disability. I’ve worked all my life to provide for my family – why would I put myself through this for money and attention?”

After opening up about her condition Decker went into hiding and many friends and other people in her life presumed she was dead.

She decided to come out as transgender while talking about her condition at an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists Conference.

“I’d been lying to myself for so long. I’d known for years I was meant to be a woman but I hadn’t been ready to come out,” she said

“As I was talking something hit me and I thought, ‘if I’m ever doing this, the time is now.”

“So, I just said it. It was incredible, I got a standing ovation.

“in that single moment, my life changed.”

Since coming out Decker has been undergoing hormone therapy and is now planning to fully transition.
