There’s big news for fans of Britney Spears.

The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer is to finish her residency in Las Vegas.

The 35-year-old singer is to leave her show in Sin City on the final day of 2017.

Her publicist, Jeff Raymond, confirmed that the show’s current run until December 31st will be its final run.

But there could still be some future for Britney’s Las Vegas show, with her manager Larry Rudolph recently discussing how the show could continue “conceivably anywhere”.

Speaking to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Larry said: “We are done with this show, and our next move is undecided.

“We are still talking with Caesars Entertainment and other interested parties in Las Vegas.

“Anything is possible. We have made zero decisions.

“We expect a lot of interest from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward.”

It comes after Spears announced a series of new overseas dates.

Rumours have been swirling for some time about a world tour, and now Britney revealed two official dates on her Twitter.

The former teen star will be jetting off to the Philippines in June and Israel in July for special performances.

The visit to Israel caused a major problem for the Israeli Labour party, as it clashed with their leadership conference.

She wrote: “Excited to be performing abroad this summer! ✨ More details available at https://britneyspears.com”

It’s also believed there’s a world tour about to be announced too.

The Daily Star reports that she will be doing a string of dates, taking in South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

An insider told Daily Star Online: “Britney has wanted to tour for ages, her time in Vegas has given her so much more confidence and she can’t wait.

“The current plan is for the Piece of Me show to be duplicated around the world instead of a whole new set being created from scratch but discussions are in the early stages.”

The newspaper reports that Britney will play shows in Japan, Argentina, Brazil, France and England, which are soon to be announced.

She previously made headlines on Twitter with fears of her death, before it was revealed Britney’s account had been hacked, and she was in fact still alive.
