Sabrina the Teenage Witch hit our screens 20 years ago this week…yes, really!

Who didn’t get enchanted (excuse the pun) by the quirky teenager with 600-year-old aunts, a talking cat and magical powers? Or more importantly who didn’t get won over by Sabrina’s first sweetheart, Harvey Kinkle?

Nate Richert, who is now 38, probably looks a little different from what you remember.

The long hair and chiselled jaw have been replaced with a beard and glasses.

Having appeared in the show until 2003, he now works as a musician and says that acting derailed his dreams of becoming a rock star.

That said, Nate said he enjoyed his time on the show.

“It was surreal, to say the least, and very, very fun,” he said.

“I was allowed to share a set with so many actors I looked up to for so many years – and always under such bizarre circumstances, due to the whole ‘witch thing’.”

See what he looks like now

Glasses and a beard have replaced the long, floppy hair of the 90s

Although the show may be 20 years old, he’s still a cult classic with over 12,000 Twitter followers

He is now following his dream as a rock musician
