Radio 1 just started Christmas celebrations – and people really don’t like it

With fewer than 100 sleeps until Christmas, what better way is there to celebrate than play a Christmas carol, right?

Wrong.

BBC Radio 1′s Scott Mills decided to kick off festive fever with everyone’s favourite carol – Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You.

And let’s just say it hasn’t exactly been welcomed with open arms, a plate of cookies and milk.

Instead, people are furious that he’s dared to kick off Crimbo in September.

He may have just got himself struck off a few Christmas card lists…

See what people are saying:

Couldn’t you wait for Halloween, Scott?

Forget the Grinch, Scott RUINED Friday:

Well, someone did enjoy it at least…

Not everyone hates the thought of Christmas now…

It’s just TOO early, Scott…

It’s a bit of a deal-breaker…

Caps say it best:

All together now: All I want for Christmas is you, baaabbyyyy.
