Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is set to take part in a PinkNews Facebook Live reader Q&A.

Mr Corbyn is currently running for re-election as leader of the Labour Party, amid a challenge from the former Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Owen Smith.

As polls open this week, he is set to take part in a live interview with PinkNews at 16:00 GMT on Wednesday 31 August – and we’re asking our readers to submit some of the questions in advance.

PinkNews CEO Benjamin Cohen said: “We are really excited to give PinkNews readers from across the UK the ability to question the candidates for leader of the Labour Party in realtime.

“At a moment of huge change for the UK in the wake of Brexit, this is an important opportunity to ensure that the many LGBT and diversity policy needs are not forgotten.”

PinkNews will publish an interview with leadership challenger Owen Smith shortly.

PinkNews will not be making an endorsement in the Labour leadership election.
