Pop sensations ABBA made a rare reunion this weekend to mark their 50th anniversary.

The band reunited in Stockholm for a private party at a hotel, accompanied by other musicians, celebrities and actors.

Although there has been no video footage yet, photos have emerged that show the group together on stage.

The group also got together in January for an appearance at a new restaurant that offer diners the chance to watch a performance of Mamma Mia, but didn’t sing.

ABBA broke up in 1982, after the two couples divorced in 1980. Over their career they had numerous smash hits including, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Waterloo and Gimme, Gimme, Gimme.

Waterloo, which they won the Eurovision Song Contest with, was chosen as the best song in the competition’s history at an event in 2005.
