This dating app wants to revolutionise how you currently find guys online
This dating app wants to do away with something that has become a staple of how you find guys online, and revolutionise app-based dating.
Hornet has announced that it is giving users a whole new way to find guys.
Rather than being constrained to only viewing other users’ profiles using just a geographical grid format, Hornet hopes to help you avoid “missed opportunities”.
So using its new ‘Discover’ and ‘Activity Feed’ tabs, you can avoid missing out on the guy of your dreams who may lie “just beyond the grid”.
Discover allows users to see guys with similar interests, including a hashtag search.
Users of Hornet will also be able to see ‘who checked you out’ and ‘new guys’. These features, and searchable terms will be expanded in coming weeks.
The aim of the new features is to allow users to find each other, when they may have other missed out before.
In the new Activity Feed, users are able to see their favourites’ updates, and see guys they may want to reconnect with.
The feed also lets users know of potential matches, offering a new way to discover new guys.
Hornet did reassure users that they are not going to get rid of the grid.
