Police appeal for information in London gay club stabbing
Two bouncers were stabbed in an attack outside a London gay club which has left Police appealing for information.
Both ben were stabbed outside Fire in Vauxhall, South London.
The attack on the men, both in their 20s, took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police administered first aid to the men until an ambulance arrived shortly after.
Officers from Lambeth CID are investigating. No arrests have been made at this stage but enquiries are ongoing. T
The police officers attended the scene at around 1.40am after they were alerted to a fight, Scotland Yard said.
The stab wounds to the two men were described as serious by police, and the Metropolitan Police said more of a police presence would be seen around the Vauxhall area.
Both victims remain in serious condition in hospital.
The attack is not believed to be gang related, the Met said.
Chief Inspector Roy Smith from Lambeth borough police said in a release:”I urge anyone who has any information in relation to this incident, no matter how insignificant you may feel it to be, to contact us.
“Police officers responded within minutes of the call being received and there will be an increased police presence in and around Vauxhall this weekend.”
