Caitlyn Jenner has launched her own rang of lipstick with MAC Cosmetics.

The trans former Olympian is going head to head with daughter Kylie in the makeup world, having launched the new colour.

Named ‘Finally Free’, the proceeds of the shade will go to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative.

“MAC was the first to come to me, and a company, I realised, would really make a big commitment,” Jenner said.

She continued: “I knew the VIVA GLAM campaigns; I saw that the proceeds were going, in those cases, mainly to AIDS and HIV causes, and I was wondering if they were interested in doing something specifically geared toward trans issues because we need funding.”

The new colour will be launched this April.

Jenner joins the ranks of people who have been given their own colour by MAC, including Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.

“I wanted a lipstick that would be universal, suited to more people, and was an everyday lipstick, not just a high-glam, once-in-a-while kind of lipstick,” the 66-year-old says of the shade on the MAC website.

attends the Point Foundation's Annual Voices On Point Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on October 3, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

“I like a little colour on my lips, not a lot during the day. And this rosy nude is the colour I’ve gone to. To be honest, I want people to use it every day so they have to buy more. I want to raise a lot of money. It’s very simple.”

Other members of the Jenner/Kardashian family have released their own lines, including Kylie Jenner, who has her own lip kit.
