The putdown came after the star said she had some exciting news to share.

Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose gave a hilarious answer to cheeky fan who asked if she was pregnant on Twitter last week.

The model teased her millions of fans on the site writing a cryptic hint during following the festive period.

“I has news. But I can’t tell you yet,” the actress and model wrote.

Seemingly annoyed by the star’s refusal to share her news, the fan asked if she was expecting a mini-Rose.

The actress quickly laughed the accusation off, blaming any access weight she may be carrying on her parents’ cooking.

“No, that’s from Christmas in Australia with the parentals.”

Prior to Christmas, Rose called off her engagement to long-term girlfriend Phoebe Dahl.

The Australian DJ became engaged to the fashion designer and Roald Dahl’s granddaughter in March 2014.

Rose debuted on the third season of the Netflix prison drama as Stella, a tattooed Australian who drove a wedge between prison couple Piper and Alex.

However, the genderfluid star attracted a lot of attention online – with both gay men and straight women alike joking that the star was making them question their sexuality.

Rose also released a video last year exploring her perception of non-traditional gender identities.

The star wrote and produced a 5 minute video set to Butterfly Boucher’s ‘It Pulls Me Under’, which sees her transition from female to male.

She said at the time: “It’s weird, some of the androgynous photos I have taken lately really make me wonder what I’d have looked like if I did a FTM transition like I wanted to when I was younger.

“I am a woman, but I would have been just as comfortable as a boy. I know a lot of people don’t understand that, but I know a few of you do.”
