Gangnam Style singer Psy appears to be breaking down gender barriers in a rather hypnotic performance.

The South Korean singer shot to international fame in 2012 with Gangnam Style, which racked up 2.4 billion YouTube views.

He continues to be a superstar across much of Asia – and displayed his uniquely eccentric style during a show at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul.

Psy took to the stage wearing a tiny black pair of hotpants… and a large yellow pair of fake breasts.

He performed a routine that ranged from raunchy to plain weird, twerking alongside his female dancers before crawling around on all-fours.

Oh, and did we mention that his breasts shoot fireworks? His breasts shoot fireworks.

If we had to guess, we’d wager the routine seems take inspiration from a number of popular female singers, from Katy Perry (firework breasts) Madonna (hot pants) to a twerking routine (Miley Cyrus).

However, with Psy… who really knows?

The BBC recently admitted it censored a lesbian kiss in broadcasts of Doctor Who in South Korea.

The broadcaster confirmed a censored version of the sci-fi show excluding a same-sex kiss was shown on BBC Worldwide in Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

A BBC spokesperson insisted it made the edits “in order to comply with broadcast regulations in Asia… but did so without detracting from the storyline.”
