A married parent-of-seven has come out as transgender… and now she identifies as a six year old girl.

Canadian Stefonknee Wolscht was married to wife Maria for many years – but after she came out as a woman aged 46, she was told to “stop being trans or leave”.

But now 52, Ms Wolscht doesn’t just identify as a woman – she identifies as a six year old girl.

The former mechanic has moved out of her family home, and now lives with friends who she refers to as her adoptive parents.

She explained: “I can’t deny I was married. I can’t deny I have children… but I’ve moved forward now and I’ve gone back to being a child. I don’t want to be an adult right now. I just live my life like I couldn’t when I was in school.”

“I have a mommy and a daddy – an adopted mommy and daddy – who are totally comfortable with me being a little girl. And their children and their grandchildren are totally supportive.”

Ms Walscht, who has a new job ploughing snow, explains that she previously lived as an eight-year-old girl… but was convinced to knock it down a few years.

She explains: “A year ago I was eight and she was seven. And she said to me: ‘I want you to be the little sister, so I’ll be nine’.

“I said: ‘Well, I don’t mind going to six’. So I’ve been six ever since.

“We have a great time! We colour, we do kid stuff… it’s called play therapy. No medication, no suicide thoughts – I just get to play.

A clip featuring Stefonknee Wolscht produced by The Daily Xtra in collaboration with The Transgender Project has attracted half a million views on YouTube – but the reception has been profoundly negative, with thousands of dislikes.

Even parts of the trans community have reacted negatively – with some suggesting that Ms Wolscht discredits their cause by claiming to identify as a different age.
