Ellen DeGeneres has released a range for GapKids which blows away traditional gender stereotypes.

The range, in collaboration with Gap, aims to support and encourage girls to reach their full potentials and express their own identities.

The GapKinds x ED range is aimed at all girls “just as they are”.

The site for the range reads that it is for all girls “whether they skateboard or dance, wear dresses or jeans, build forts or paint rainbows, or everything in between.”

In a video for the range, Ellen says: “We focus so much on our differences and that is creating a lot of chaos and negativity and bullying in the world.

“And I think that if we focus on what we all have in common which is ‘we all just want to be happy’ that would be a lot better.”
