As wedding guests go, Madonna, Joan Rivers and Cher aren’t three people you’d expect to turn up uninvited.

However, when a man was asked to officiate the wedding of two of his friends, he decided to go big – and did it in drag as all three.

Charlie Hides dressed up as the three for the wedding of his friends Trevor and John, in one of the most unique ceremonies we’ve seen.

A video captures the moment the stars ‘Skyped’ in to the wedding, with Cher telling them: “I’m glad you could all be here today for this big gay wedding.

“It’s going to be even gay than Tom Cruise singing showtunes with Elton John and the cast of Glee.”

Madonna added: “I would like to recite something I wrote a few years ago, that I wanted to say at both of my weddings.

Reciting Like A Virgin, she jokes: “You’re so fine, and you’re mine, I’ll be yours, ’till the end of time.”

Joan Rivers, who died last year, then joined to officiate the ceremony. Cher joked: “They were really surprised that Joan Rivers still has access to Skype!”
