The actor wants to see more male nudity in television shows and films…

Kevin Bacon has a bone to pick with Hollywood, reports Mashable.

The actor says that there is too much gratuitous female nudity in films and television, and that isn not fair – because male actors want to be naked too and more of them should get chance to show a bit of flesh.

Will you help Kevin Bacon free his… bacon?

We have to admit, we can kind of see his point.

In a very serious public service announcement, the actor demands that more male actors be allowed to “free their bacon,” attacking Game of Thrones, Fifty Shades of Grey and (randomly) My Dog Skip for their lack of justifiable male nudity.

“In so many films and TV shows we see gratuitous female nudity, and that’s not OK… It’s OK, but it’s not fair to actresses and it’s not fair to actors because we want to be naked, too,” Bacon said.

“You got three sex scenes an episode, how hard would it be to just show one or two weiners every couple of minutes? This is an issue of gender equality. Let me be on the show. Come on, I’ll play a naked wizard or something,” he said.

“I’ve done it before. Have you seen Wild Things? I was super naked there, it was awesome.”

He also criticised “Fifty Shades of Grey,” saying that the lead actor, Jamie Dornan, should’ve been seen naked.

“Why not let Jamie Dornan take off his pants?” he said.

“Or better yet why not let me play Christian Grey?”

Bacon even suggested an idea for the Marvel movie franchise.

“Hey Marvel I have an idea for a superhero, it’s me, and guess what, I have an infinity stone on the tip of my weiner,” he said,

He also said he regularly puts nudity clauses in his movie contracts, but gets frustrated when they are removed.

And like any great contemporary social movement, he even has a catchy hashtag: #FreeTheBacon.

Some may say Bacon has balls for making this suggestion, but his message is clear – it’s time to stand tall in unity.
