Sir Elton John was forced to apologise at a concert last night after he called one of the attending stewards a “f*cking c*nt”.

The Rocket Man singer was playing in Gloucester at the Kingshom Stadium, and made the steward cry after he went on a rant about fans being told not to wave their hands.

Ranting about the no-waving policy, Sir Elton said: “You f**king stewards, who do you think you are? This is my f**king concert, who are you? …. especially you with the f**king blonde ponytail, you’re a f**king c**t … Yes you, this isn’t f**king China, now piss off. My fans have paid good money and if they want to wave their f**king arms they f**king can. Do you hear me? Now piss off!”

After the rant, the woman was seen walking off crying, but was later brought on stage by Sir Elton, who shared his piano stool with her, and gave her a hug.

He acknowledged that it was not the fault of the staff for enforcing the policy, but that whoever was responsible should not have done so.

He said: “no-one should ever talk to a lady like that”

Fans were outraged at the outburst, but some took to social media to say they thought he was right to make a stand.
