The 21-year-old singer posted a clip of himself playing on a scooter on a private jet, before planting a kiss on the cheek of bodyguard Mikey Arana.

He added that kissing someone on the cheek doesn’t make him gay, writing: “I’m not gay but even if I was that’s not an insult”.

Quite why Bieber needed to clarify his sexuality is unclear.

The star accidentally attended a meeting for gay Republicans earlier this year – when he insisted on sitting at his regular table at an LA restaurant.

The area had been roped off for a private function for the Log Cabin Republicans – but Bieber insisted on sitting in the middle of the group.

Event chair Ben Coleman told KABC he initially didn’t recognise Bieber – who he likened to “a butcher version of Miley Cyrus” – but the star did not seem fazed to be sat in the middle of the mixer.

A New York pastor recently claimed that the ‘Baby’ singer is actually transgender.

Pastor James David Manning of the ATLAH Missionary Church in Harlem, New York, claimed: “These young girls, if we don’t stand, can be led to cut off their breasts once they get into puberty.

“They can be led to have operations like Justin Bieber. They can think the best choice in life is to cut off their breasts.

“By the time they reach the age of 20 years old, they look and say I wish I had never cut off my breasts, I wish I had never mutilated my flesh, I wish I had never cut off my penis, I wish I had never done that, I was just young.”

“[Politicians are] influencing these children to throw their lives away the way Justin Bieber threw his life away, and then 20 years old, can’t grow their breasts back. We need to wake the hell up.”
