Warning: Explicit lyrics

A new parody of Broadway song ‘Gary, Indiana’ takes aim at Indiana’s new anti-gay law, which allows businesses to refuse service to gay people.

The Governor of Indiana, Mike Pence, this week signed into law the controversial ‘Religious Freedom Restoration Act’, which gives businesses the right to discriminate against gay people on the grounds of religion.

The law has been met with condemnation from gay rights groups, who warn it sets a troubling precedent in allowing anti-gay discrimination.

YouTube star Randy Rainbow has recorded a cover of the song from the 1957 musical – which was originally included as an ode to the state.

However, new version ‘F**k you Indiana’ is rather more rude about the state – taking aim at Governor Mike Pence for signing the law.

It includes the lyrics: “F**k you and your antiquated laws from 1910.

“If you’re wondering why I’m making this deceleration, can we talk about your blatant discrimination?

Referring to Mr Pence, it continues: “And specifically here’s the target of my frustration: there is just one hick who can s**k my d**k.”

It isn’t the first parody to target the state – a viral video last week spoofed the state’s tourist board.
