Former porn actor Luka Magnotta has been found guilty in the murder and dismemberment of a Chinese student back in 2012.

The case of a Chinese student allegedly killed by Canadian former porn actor Luka Magnotta continued in court this year.

Intimate details of Jun Lin’s private life were in October relayed to a jury in Montreal.

The 32-year-old’s torso was found in a suitcase at a rubbish dump outside Magnotta’s apartment building in Montreal, almost two and a half years ago. Parts of the body were also posted to political parties and schools.

Magnotta was accused of murdering the victim between 24 and 25 May, 2012.

As well as first-degree murder, he was also found guilty of criminal harassment of the Canadian Prime Minister, to whom he posted dismembered parts of Lin’s body.

After eight days of deliberation, the Canadian jury of eight women and four men, found Magnotta guilty on all charges.

He was sentenced to life in prison with no parole for at least 25 years.
