Into fisting or watersports porn? Hard luck, UK producers have just been banned from making it
The types of porn producers in the UK are allowed to make changed today, with a ban on specific acts such as fisting, face-sitting and water-sports having taken effect.
Brought in by the Audiovisual Media Services regulation 2014, the ban states that any online paid-for porn such as Video on Demand (VoD) must adhere to the same rules set out for those producing DVDs.
Those rules are set out by the British Board of Film Censors (BBFC).
The change has been criticised for seemingly arbitrarily banning the depiction of certain types of sex on screen. In particular, the new rules have been criticised for blocking acts which are used in porn which depicts women in a position of power.
The full list of now banned acts is available below:
Spanking
Caning
Aggressive whipping
Penetration by any object “associated with violence”
Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of if consensual)
Urolagnia (known as “water sports”)
Female ejaculation
Strangulation
Facesitting
Fisting
Porn depicting all of those is still legal to watch in the UK if it has been made abroad.
