Guide launched for lesbians who have been affected by sexual violence
A guide has been launched for lesbian and bisexual women who have been affected by sexual violence.
The guide was launched by the Lesbian and Gay Foundation (LGF) to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, today, 25 November.
The LGF’s ‘A guide for lesbian and bisexual women who have been affected by sexual violence’, is the first of its kind of be launched in the UK aimed directly at lesbian and bisexual women.
It aims to provide survivors of rape or sexual violence with information, support and help they may need, and is the first of a series of three information booklets which has been funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester.
A version of the guide aimed at gay and bisexual men, and one for trans people will be released in December.
