Fox anchor Sean Hannity: Parents have a right to teach that being gay is ‘not normal’

Fox anchor Sean Hannity has claimed that parents have a right to teach their children that homosexuality is abnormal.

The news anchor made the claim in a radio segment about NFL player Adrian Peterson, who ‘doesn’t believe’ in same-sex marriage and was recently indicted for whipping his four-year-old son.

He said: “This is my problem with liberals. Here’s where my fear goes. You guys want to tell parents what they can and cannot do – for example is it going to become illegal to teach the politically correct view that being gay is not normal?

“I think we’ve gotten to the point, if we’re going to politically correct our kids, we might as well hand them over to the government and let them raise them.”

Though he admitted that “Adrian Peterson went to far”, Hannity continued: “The problem is… we send these kids off to school, and maybe they’re taught that God is dead, or maybe they’re taught that it’s OK to have sex, or maybe they’re taught values that contradict what the parents are teaching.

“Heather has two mommies, daddies – that’s the government circumventing parental values.”

Fox pundit Dr Ben Carson,  who claims equal marriage is a “Marxist plot”, revealed last month that he is considering running for President.

Carson was also was forced to apologise last year, after comparing gay people to paedophiles.
