Sarah Palin did the ice bucket challenge, and it was pretty bizarre

Sarah Palin has taken up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and it was one of the most bizarre things we’ve ever seen.

The former 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate and governor of Alaska appeared to reject the challenge in the video, during which she painstakingly places pieces of ice into a glass, before pouring a drink.

Then, the unspeakable happens. But not before she brags about pledging double the $100 donation, and nominating former First Lady, Hillary Clinton, for the challenge.

Palin is known for backing anti-gay public figures and organisations. In July 2012, she defended fast food chain Chick-Fil-A’s opposition to gay rights by posing for a photograph at an outlet in Texas with her husband.
