Photos: Brighton Pride parade draws huge crowds
Brighton’s Pride parade drew huge crowds this morning, as revellers lined the streets for the city’s celebrations.
According to organisers, over 160,000 people were expected to attend the event this year, which has the theme ‘Freedom to Live’.
Rain has held off for the Brighton event, despite storms and showers disrupting today’s Liverpool Pride.
Activists from across the country and the rest of the world took part in the march, including a Ugandan contingent from the Out & Proud Diamond Group.
Performers are also taking to the stage in Preston Park, with Blue, Katy B, Kimberly Wyatt and Frankmusik set to perform this evening, among others.
