US: Skateboarder Tony Hawk lends his support for same-sex marriage

Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk recently stated his support for same-sex marriage by starring in a Human Rights Campaign video.

Hawk, best known for his extreme skateboarding and his series of video games, said in an HRC “Americans For Marriage Equality” video that he believes “we all deserve to follow our hearts”.

Hawk said: “We need to continue working until ever state recognises marriage as an equal right.”

Actor Susan Sarandon also recently stated her support for marriage equality in a video that made light of her history with marriage.
