US: Republican Senator who supports same-sex marriage hints at Presidential run

  • Greg PJR

why oh why oh why must they always attack the federal Affordable Healthcare Act? He lost my attention at that one. Don’t need to know anymore.

  • Riondo

    Hilary Clinton will be president.
The GOP has done too little too late to curb its whack jobs to prevent it.

  • Lawerence Collins

I applaud his stance on Marriage Equality. However he’s still a republican. I don’t see anything good coming from that quagmire mess that the GOP is!

  • Jon (Malaysia)

I don’t think it would ever be possible in my lifetime to support a republican. They take way too long to change. This is the party, yes of Lincoln, but also of McCarthy, Nixon and acting President Reagan. Portman is taking a baby step in the right direction, but he’s still a republican, and he didn’t wake up from his delusion until his son came out, so he didn’t care about us until it hit him personally. He’s still trying to bring down Obamacare, which is law, without an alternative solution, instead of trying to remedy it’s perceived flaws. It’s being tweaked all the time. An example being the ridiculous Hobby Lobby supreme court decision.

Gay people should still be weary of electing a Republican.

Just because they are willing to throw us a bone on marriage, does not mean they will do the same for other rights that we deserve.
