US: Wisconsin Governor unsure of whether gay marriage ban breaks US Constitution

    US Constitution : 14th Amendment – Section 1

    All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

      Any state governor that says gay marriage shouldn’t happen needs this sprayed over their eyeballs.

    The fact that Walker admits that gay marriage is going to be nationwide says it all. The anti forces know it’s only a matter of time. That time is coming sooner then any one expected. There are enough cases again in the lower courts that could go to the US Supreme Court…again. The Supreme Court could have dumped ALL of DOMA last year but they were wimps. But at least what they did dump opened the flood gates in our favor. They knew damn well last year they weren’t finishing the job. They knew they would have to face the facts again. They will end up over turning all the remaining state bans that are left and be done with it. That will happen!! I will bet it will happen by this time next year. As resident’s of the State of New Mexico my husband and I are already blessed with it being a done deal here.
