Chris Crocker: Gay men who hate feminine guys ‘give gays a bad name’

Internet personality Chris Crocker has attacked gay men who make derogatory comments about camp men.

Mr Crocker first came to prominence in 2007 for his infamous ‘Leave Britney Alone’ video – which attracted swathes of comments attacking his feminine appearance and mannerisms.

The internet personality, who has released a number of albums and also debuted as a gay porn star, openly explored a masculine and feminine gender identity – but currently presents as male.

He said: “Gay guys who hate on feminine gay guys give gays a bad name, not the other way around.

“The rainbow is our symbol to represent all shades of the community. Not just the most masculine shade.

“Until you accept all those shades you don’t have gay pride. You have self pride.”
