US battle rapper Daylyt has criticised rap and hip hop stars Macklemore and Lil Wayne for showing their support to the gay community, saying it is “ugly” that “gay sh*t is taking over the world.”

In a recent Vlad TV interview, Daylyt responded to the news that Macklemore had won a Grammy award for Best Rap Album.

“Gay s**t is taking over the world,” he said. “All [Macklemore] rap about is gay s**t. He’s with the gays, and we know this.”

He continued on to the topic of Lil Wayne, who has shown his support for the gay community in the past, saying he attempted to “sneak into the gay world” while still trying to “stay hood.”

“He was trying to stay hood, but trying to grasp that gay fan-base,” he continued. “The motherf*ckers are in the billions bro. Gay people are in the billions.

“Macklemore does stuff for gay people, and when they put them votes in, a billion of them rainbow motherf**kers was tallying up.

“A n***a rapping about it’s okay to be gay won the best Hip Hop album. It’s ugly.”

Last month, Christian rapper Bizzle recorded a homophobic rap response to Macklemore’s ‘Same Love’, in which he compares gay people to paedophiles, and says they are “against God”.

In November, two other rappers accused stars Macklemore and Frank Ocean of exploiting gay culture in order to get ahead in the music industry.

An openly gay rapper and producer from New York City also recently went on a tirade denouncing straight rap star Macklemore after his performance at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), of a hit which carries a strong message of support for equal marriage.
