  1. How sad and utterly disgusting. This is like me congratulating the Ku Klux Klan for persecuting black people. Are these awful, ignorant bigots so utterly lacking in self-awareness that they cannot see how despicable it is to persecute their own people when their race has suffered similar persecution at the hands of white people for centuries? Does ‘religion’ brainwash them to forget their heritage and enables them to turn on their own … over a ‘belief’? What a sick continent Africa has become. I hope, one day, it manages to drag itself out of the stone-age.

Well, personally I believe that if he wanted to protect human dignity he’d be better off banning the Catholic Church. But maybe that’s just me eh?

  3. Yes, because I see naming and shaming LGBT within the national press, sending LGBT to prison, or to receive lashes or mob groups to attack LGBT which leads to them being murdered as a total ‘protection of the dignity of the human person’.

    What an utter tool!!!

So effectively he’s saying being gay disqualifies you from being a person or being human. What a wanker!

That’s exactly what he’s saying. Creating “The Other” is exactly what religion thrives upon. Divisive and dangerous nonsense.

These bishops are a disgrace to their church, to christianity, and to humanity.

What does he think about the UN report on the Catholic church? Any comments Bishops? Or is it all the fault of the gays?

The comments on that thread are beyond belief!

They should incarcerate or place this criminal in a prison or some mental institution. The more these so called bigoted, homophobic leaders of the Roman Catholic Church talk the more they make out their faith system to be a “brood of hypocritical vipers” with the end result of only demonize their institutions.instead of being ones’ of solace ,love and peace.

  8. Computer scams, pirates and theft generally are Nigeria’s economic gifts to the world. And a bit of oil. The world would be better off if Nigeria was blown to bits after the 5,000 decent people were flown to safety.

” the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria recently called the act “‘courageous,””

It’s becoming obvious to me that many Catholic clergy have intrinsically smug, sadistic and cruel natures, they probably gravitate to the priesthood knowing that they will achieve power over others merely through wearing the priests uniform.
If it ever regained sufficient power and control I think we would quickly see the Catholic church employing torture and executions of any who did not comply, just as they did in their heyday of power at the time of the inquisition.
The Catholic church is a nest of devils and Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama is one of them.

  10. Where is the wonderful new pope who is touted to be more gay friendly?
