The full list of nominees for the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards has been announced.

The awards will take place in two legs – Los Angeles on 12 April 2014 at the Beverly Hilton – and New York on 3 May 2014 at the Waldorf Astoria.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honour media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

GLAAD recognises nominees for not portraying LGBT people as broad stereotypes, broaching LGBT issues in non-traditional ways, cultural impact and overall quality.

Formerly the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAAD change to just that last year.

Nominees for the awards are available to view below.
